For every action we have an equal reaction. The same is true even with the human life. We have lot of emotions. Anger, enthusiasm, sad, depression, excitement, fear, love, peace, happiness, thrill etc. are the expressions of the emotion. Emotions are either expressed or suppressed. In both the cases it leaves an impression on mind. This impression in other words I can say is the reaction of the emotional action. Each time our emotional status is altered, a new layer of impression in left on mind.
For example-If you walk on a wet soil your foot prints are left. More number of steps you walk more will be the foot prints. Still more you walk on that wet soil; you will see the level of soil is down. That means the soil has got deeper impressions by your repeated walk. Same way after continuous and prolonged abnormal impressions the mind develops behavioural disorder as symbol of poor status of mind.
Human being is a balanced creature. It is the only creation to whom God has given the biggest unique gift of mind. The most important work of mind is to guide the individual to leave a balanced life. A balanced life I can define as a life in which there is neither over excitement nor sudden depression. An example we can take like; there is a quite water body, say a pond. A stone is thrown into it. You find number of small waves on the water surface which disappear after a short while. But when a boat sails on that you find bigger waves which persist for a longer time. What I mean to say is if our emotional status is altered vigorously then the abnormal (impression) reaction it will leave will be deeper but if we are disturbed just little then it is not going to affect us any longer. Hence the deeper emotions will have abnormal (impression) reactions.
If every emotional action leaves an abnormal (impression) reaction and later on it develops into a behavioural disorder (BD) then why not everybody develop BD?
Here another factor plays important role; that is ‘individual sensitivity.’ More the individual is sensitive, longer he will carry the impression and more he is prone to develop BD. Hence always we should leave a balanced life.
Some mental traits are being inherited from parents to children. Hence heredity is a factor. Another factor is mother’s mental status during pregnancy. A stressful pregnant mother can not deliver a mentally healthy child. Third factor is ignorance of the parents. Many parent neglect thinking that the nature of the child is like this. If the child is pulling his own hair in anger, having out bursting of anger, is hurting himself, is having hallucination of someone scolding him etc. then these are the abnormal symptoms and parents must not neglect it. Or else later on it develops more severe mental abnormalities.
One example- A child was extremely fearful; having fear of dark, ghost, cruelty, bright light, etc. His all childhood photographs show his face in crying posture because he was afraid of the flash light of camera and that is why he was hesitant to take photograph. He won’t watch television after evening because any slightest cruelty scene he watches in TV that will bring disturbed sleep. Before going to speak in a debate at school he feels very much nervous but once starts speaking then everything goes well. He is easily excited to see something new. All these childhood characters were neglected by the parents and later the child grew to an individual having very short tempered and highly sentimental individual
