Malnutrition
Today another example I am presenting to prove how homoeopathy addresses peculiar symptoms.
The child is fair, flabby and fat. In his appearance he looked like a child Ganesha (Hindu God). Disproportionate height and health was very prominent in him. Dwarf (height is less than normal) and obese (growth is more than normal); these are the two terms you can easily say on his physical make up. His head is comparatively large and neck is hardly visible.
Analysis-It is not a healthy growth .It is only the accumulation of unwanted amount of fat in the body which makes the child unable to bear with least exertion.
All his milestones like walking, teething, talking were delayed.
Analysis-Because of the defective assimilation of food the bone tissues take a long time to develop and hence almost all the long bones are found curved. Under heavy body weight the bones of the legs give way .so KNEES KNOCK together and BOW LEGS are found.
He catches cold easily. Often he is affected by cough, dust allergy etc. He sweats also a lot; particularly from head. While sleeping we find his pillow surrounding his head is wet. Sweat smells sour. He craves for eggs. He also eats indigestible thing like chalk, earth etc.
Analysis- These are because of the malnutrition. Because of lack of haemoglobine in blood such unnatural craving comes.
Mentally he is stubborn. Once determined to do something, at any cost he will do it. His mind is as strong as calcium. These children later on when start taking responsibility; they shoulder huge number of tasks, then become confused and finally leave everything. Though he is rigid by mind but on the other hand he is sensitive to cruelty. He can’t see cruelty scenes like fighting, killing, beating, bleeding etc even in movies. He has extra ordinary fear of rats.
Analysis- Malnutrition often leads to defective intellect.
Over all analysis- ABNORMAL GROWTH, EXCESIVE SWEATING, DELAYED MILE STONES ETC are the abnormal physical conditions. In modern system of medicine these are dealt with casually but homeopathy addresses such symptoms strongly. If these symptoms are not rectified in child hood then they leave some deep dyscrasia (disease impression) in the body and mind which makes the individual less immune to physical and mental stress in adult stage. So in later life he is prone to develop diseases like tonsillitis,bronchitis,asthma,skin disorders,one sided headache,nose bleeding,depression etc. to name a few.
For the above mentioned typical case the indicated homeopathic medicine is CALCAREA CARB. This medicine when given in suitable doses often brings the constitution to normal. Also the above mentioned so called disorders are prevented.
